Gold prices fall by Rs3,800 per tola
ISLAMABAD, Sep 17 (APP):Gold prices in the country decreased by Rs3,800 per tola on Thursday, with the price of 24-karat gold reaching Rs 453,436 against Rs 457,236 recorded on the previous trading day, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
The price of 24-karat gold per 10 grams decreased by Rs 3,257 to Rs 388,749 from Rs 392,006, while that of 22-karat gold fell by Rs 2,987 to Rs 356,364 from Rs 359,351.
In the international market, gold prices declined by $38 to $4,309 per ounce from $4,347.
Meanwhile, silver prices also witnessed a downward trend, with 24-karat silver per tola falling by Rs73 to Rs6,869 from Rs 6,942.
The price of 24-karat silver per 10 grams decreased by Rs62 to Rs5,889 from Rs5,951, while international silver prices declined by $0.73 to $63.91 per ounce from $64.64.
