Gold prices fall by Rs 3,300 per tola in domestic market

ISLAMABAD, Oct 27 (APP):Gold prices in Pakistan declined on Monday, as the per tola rate of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs 3,300, closing at Rs 430,362 compared to Rs 433,662 on the previous trading day.
Likewise, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs 2,829, settling at Rs 368,966 against the previous rate of Rs 371,795, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold were traded at Rs 338,231 after a reduction of Rs 2,593, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
International gold prices also witnessed a bearish trend, falling by $33 to reach $4,080 per ounce compared to $4,113 per ounce a day earlier.
Silver prices remained in negative territory as well. The per tola silver price fell by Rs 27 to close at Rs 5,097, whereas the rate for 10 grams silver was recorded at Rs 4,369 after a decline of Rs 24.
Globally, international silver was priced at $48.35 per ounce, reflecting a slight decrease of $0.27.
The domestic precious metals rates were based on the interbank exchange rates, with purity calculated at 999/24K, the association added.
