ISLAMABAD, Nov 01 (APP): The price of per tola 24 karat gold witnessed a decrease of Rs1,600 and was sold at Rs422,562 on Saturday compared to Rs424,162 on the previous trading day, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA).
The price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold also dropped by Rs1,372 to Rs362,278, while 10 grams of 22 karat gold declined by Rs332,100 to Rs332,100.
In the international market, the price of gold fell by $16 to $4,002 per ounce.
Likewise, the price of silver per tola decreased by Rs65 to Rs5,127, while 10 grams of silver went down by Rs56 to Rs4,395. International silver prices also dropped by $0.65 to $48.65 per ounce.
The gold rates were calculated based on the interbank exchange rate with 999 purity standards, the association added.
