Gold price surges by Rs5,300 to hit Rs444,162 per tola

ISLAMABAD, Nov 29 (APP): The price of per tola 24-karat gold in Pakistan increased by Rs5,300 on Saturday, reaching Rs444,162, compared to Rs438,862 on the previous day.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs4,544, climbing to Rs380,797 from Rs376,253 a day earlier.
Similarly, the 10-gram 22-karat gold rate went up by Rs4,165, closing at Rs349,076 against Rs344,911 on Friday.
In the international market, gold prices increased by $53, reaching $4,218 compared to $4,165 on the previous day.
Meanwhile, the price of per tola silver rose by Rs267, reaching Rs5,909 from Rs5,642 yesterday. The 10-gram silver price increased by Rs229, closing at Rs5,066 as against Rs4,837 the previous day.
International silver prices also saw an uptick of $2.67, rising to $56.37 compared to $53.70 on Friday.
