ISLAMABAD, Oct 16 (APP):The price of per tola 24 karat gold increased by Rs 1,900 on Thursday to Rs 442,800, up from Rs 440,900 on the previous trading day, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Likewise, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold rose by Rs 1,629 to Rs 379,629 from Rs 378,000, while 10 grams of 22 karat gold climbed to Rs 348,005 from Rs 346,512, showing an increase of Rs 1,493.
In the international market, gold prices also went up by $19, reaching $4,217 compared to $4,198 on the prior day.
However, the prices of silver remained unchanged as per tola 24 karat silver was sold at Rs 5,337 and 10 grams at Rs 4,575. International silver also held steady at $52.50 per ounce, the association reported.
