Gold price falls by Rs 2,900 per tola
ISLAMABAD, Mar 12 (APP): The price of 24 karat gold per tola decreased by Rs 2,900 on Thursday and was sold at Rs 540,362 against its sale at Rs 543,262 on the previous trading day, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
The price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold also declined by Rs 2,486 to Rs 463,273 from Rs 465,759, whereas the price of 10 grams of 22 karat gold went down by Rs 2,279 to Rs 424,682 from Rs 426,961.
The rates of silver also witnessed a decrease as the price of per tola silver fell by Rs 179 to Rs 9,175 from Rs 9,354, while the price of 10 grams of silver dropped by Rs 153 to Rs 7,866 from Rs 8,019.
In the international market, the price of gold decreased by $29 to $5,176 from $5,205, whereas the price of silver declined by $1.79 to $86.91 from $88.70, the association reported.
