Faisalabad Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FWCCI) has announced the election schedule for its 2026-28 term, setting in motion a transparent and structured electoral process for the constitution of its Executive Committee in accordance with the Trade Organizations Act and relevant rules.

FAISALABAD, Jul 13 (APP):Faisalabad Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FWCCI) has announced the election schedule for its 2026-28 term, setting in motion a transparent and structured electoral process for the constitution of its Executive Committee in accordance with the Trade Organizations Act and relevant rules.
According to FWCCI Secretary General, the election schedule has been issued under the Trade Organizations (Amendment) Act 2022, Trade Organizations Rules 2013 (Rule 14) and Article 15 of the FWCCI Articles of Association. The schedule has also been approved by FWCCI Executive Committee.
All vacant seats of the Executive Committee will be filled through the forthcoming elections and a three-member Election Commission has been constituted comprising Tasgheera Tajammal, Zeb-un-Nisa and Sunila Sharif, to ensure a free, fair and impartial electoral process.
The election schedule has been displayed on chamber’s notice board, uploaded to its official website and forwarded to the Director General of Trade Organizations (DGTO).
Under this schedule, the provisional list of members will be published on July 15 while the final voters’ list will be issued on August 18, 2026.
The eligible candidates seeking election to the Executive Committee will submit their nomination papers on August 22, followed by scrutiny on August 25. The list of nominated candidates will be displayed on FWCCI notice board on August 26.
Objections against nominations may be filed by August 28 while the Election Commission will decide the same by August 31.
Appeals against the commission’s decisions may be submitted to the DGTO regulator by September 02 whereas all appeals will be decided by September 09.
The final list of contesting candidates will be published on September 11 while nomination papers may be withdrawn until September 15 and the final list of Executive Committee candidates will be displayed on September 17, 2026.
Polling for the Corporate Class will be held on Monday, September 21, while members of the Associate Class will cast their votes on Tuesday, September 22.
Counting of votes will begin immediately after polling and provisional results will be announced on the respective polling days.
The official results of FWCCI elections for 2026-28 will be formally declared during chamber’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) on September 29, FWCCI Secretary General added.
