Over Rs 200 billion shifted to rural areas on Eid: FPCCI

ISLAMABAD Aug 29 (APP): The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) has assured it’s full cooperation in making the South Asian Economic Union (SAEU) a real success.
“South Asian Region has countless development opportunities and vast potential to meet with the growth requirements of its inhabitants and FPPCI will make every effort to make the forum a success,” President FPCCI Abdul Rauf Alam said in a press statement.
Rauf said Regional organizations are one of the most suitable means to normalize the elations among the partners and to channelize the cooperative gestures into the right tract
besides a sense of security among the members, he added.
He lauded the resolve of Finance Minister Ishaq Dar to establishing SAEU to ensure regional development ultimately helping to root-out poverty, hunger and illiteracy from the

Rauf Alam said the region is bestowed with vast fertile lands, mineral resources, manpower, deep seas, large and high mountain ranges besides talented manpower which is considered mandatory for achieving rapid economic growth.
Regional integration had great potential to offer opportunities for the collective uplift of the region representing 3 % of the world’s area, 21 percent of the world’s population and 9.12 percent of the global economy, Rauf Alam noted.
