FAISALABAD, Jan 13 (APP):Director Public Relations FESCO Engineer Muhammad Saeed Raza has been appointed as manager of the WAPDA tug-of-war team for strengthening the administrative affairs of men and women teams.
A FESCO spokesman said here on Tuesday that according to a notification issued by WAPDA Sports Board, the appointments were made with the approval of Chairman WAPDA Sports Board to improve team management and overall performance.
In this regard, Engineer Muhammad Saeed Raza has been assigned the responsibilities of manager of tug-of-war team.
WAPDA Sports Board expressed confidence that Engineer Muhammad Saeed Raza, owing to his professional competence, administrative experience and strong association with sports, would play a key role in further enhancing performance of the tug-of-war team.
Meanwhile, WAPDA Central tug-of-war team coach Sajid Ali, assistant coach Muhammad Yasin, Kaleemullah, Muhammad Raza Abbas and other players presented a bouquet to Muhammad Saeed Raza and congratulated him on assuming the new role.
FESCO Sports Association along with FESCO officers and employees also extended heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Engineer Muhammad Saeed Raza on taking up the new responsibilities, the spokesman added.
