FESCO opens digital media studio to strengthen real-time communication with electricity consumers

Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) has taken a step towards technology-driven public communication with the inauguration of a modern digital media studio at its Public Relations Directorate for providing consumers with timely, authentic and accessible information about FESCO activities, development projects, maintenance works and power shutdown schedules.

FAISALABAD, Oct 01 (APP): Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) has taken a step towards technology-driven public communication with the inauguration of a modern digital media studio at its Public Relations Directorate for providing consumers with timely, authentic and accessible information about FESCO activities, development projects, maintenance works and power shutdown schedules.
Director General (Admin) FESCO Farrukh Aftab inaugurated the digital media studio in accordance with the vision of Chief Executive FESCO Engineer Muhammad Amir.
Company Secretary Muzaffar Abbas, Director Public Relations Saeed Raza, Deputy Director (A&S) Faraz Ahmed and other officials and staff of the PR Directorate were also present.
Addressing the inauguration ceremony, Farrukh Aftab described the establishment of the digital media studio as an important step towards bringing FESCO’s communication system in line with modern information technology.
He said that timely, authentic and effective communication had become fundamental to the performance of any institution and to maintaining public confidence particularly in an era when consumers increasingly relied on digital platforms for information.
The DG Admin said the new studio would facilitate more effective dissemination of information about FESCO’s activities, ongoing development projects, repair and maintenance works and scheduled power outages.
He said that FESCO would serve as a modern and active communication platform connecting FESCO with its consumers, helping enhance public awareness, ensure timely delivery of information and further improve the utility’s public service delivery.
Later, Farrukh Aftab along with Company Secretary Muzaffar Abbas and other officers cut a cake at the digital media studio to mark its inauguration.
