FAISALABAD, Dec 06 (APP):The Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) has crossed another milestone in its ongoing measures to modernize services and started issuing essential Town Planning Reports for properties in FDA-controlled housing colonies in real-time through an online system.
FDA Director General Muhammad Asif Chaudhry made this announcement while reviewing the progress of modern reforms implementation during a meeting. This advancement has improved the standard of rapid service delivery and ensured significant time savings for applicants, he added.
Chief Engineer Mehr Ayub, Director IT Yasir Ijaz Chattha, Director Town Planning Asma Mohsin, Director Estate Management Junaid Hassan Manj, Deputy Director Abdullah Noor, and other officials attended the meeting.
During the session, it was highlighted that the FDA’s property records have been linked with the Punjab Urban Land System Enhancement (PLUS).
The online availability of all details and data has greatly facilitated departmental proceeding.
The new system allows for the swift checking of building plan approvals, completion reports, court cases, and other matters related to any property without delay.
Since the system is connected to all FDA departments, online departmental reports are now issued immediately.
Director General FDA urged responsible implementation of the modern reforms, emphasizing that there should be no hurdle in departmental actions toward fulfilling the mission of rapid service delivery.
He instructed in-charge officers of all departments to immediately process all applications for the issuance of Town Planning Reports through the PLUS system to provide applicants with prompt relief.
During meeting, Director IT Yasir Ijaz Chattha provided an update on measures to further streamline the services of the One-Window Counter, stating that all officers are performing their departmental duties using their allotted ID/Login under the “PLUS” system.
