FAISALABAD, Jan 06 (APP):The Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) has received dues amounting to Rs.551.84 million over the past six months while a vigorous recovery campaign is continuing against long-term defaulters.
Additional Director General (ADG) FDA Qaiser Abbas Rind shared these details while presiding over a meeting whereas Director Town Planning Asma Mohsin, Directors Estate Management Junaid Hassan Manj and Sohail Maqsood Pannu, Deputy Director Finance Humaira Ashraf and other officials were present on the occasion.
During meeting, the ADG reviewed the individual performance of various departments and issued necessary instructions to raise the revenue.
The breakdown of recoveries for the first half of the current fiscal year was presented during the meeting.
It was informed that in Estate Management-II Rs 178.952 million, in Town Planning-II Rs158.551 million, in Estate Management-I Rs 111.539 million, in Town Planning-I, Rs 86.364 Million, in Katchi Abadi section Rs 11.273 million, Special Judicial Magistrate (Fines) Rs 2.218 Million, Testing Laboratory Rs 1.546 million and in IT Services head Rs1.397 million have been received during the corresponding period.
Expressing overall satisfaction with the recovery status, ADG Qaiser Abbas Rind emphasized that increasing the institution’s income sources must remain top priority.
He directed the officials to keep a strict eye on property commercialization and ensure that pending applications for approval are processed without any delay.
