FAISALABAD, Oct 02 (APP):Faisalabad Development Authority’s (FDA) One-Window Counter has provided relief to a total of 1,972 applicants over the last nine months.
Presiding over a meeting, FDA Director General Muhammad Asif Chaudhry reviewed the performance of One-Window Counter and said that FDA has provided relief to 1972 applicants by redressing their grievances while 85 other applications are currently under progress in various departments.
He said that from January to September 2025 the Estate Management-I Department provided prompt service to 1,107 applicants while 626 applications were processed in Town Planning-I. Similarly, departmental services were provided on 178 applications in Town Planning-II whereas action was completed on 61 applications relating to the matters of Katchi Abadis.
The One-Window Counter provided relief in the approval of residential and commercial building plans and commercialization, property transfers, issuance of Ownership Clearance Certificates, Town Planning (TP) Reports and Completion Certificates for buildings, issuance of various No-Objection Certificates (NOCs), departmental action on public complaints against land grabbers, encroachments and illegal housing schemes, he added.
He expressed satisfaction over counter’s overall performance and directed the FDA staff to ensure responsible implementation of reforms related to the use of modern technology to further improve the speed of service delivery.
He expressed pleasure over successful implementation of the real-time issuance of Ownership Certificates and e-Challan System, and said that efforts should be advanced in digital technology to provide applicants with home-accessible services through the online system.
He also instructed the officers in charge of all departments to closely monitor the performance of their subordinate staff and conduct a daily review of departmental actions on citizens’ applications to ensure no application or file is unjustifiably delayed or pending.
