FDA DG for using digital technology in plot balloting

FAISALABAD, Feb 24 (APP):Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) Director General (DG) Muhammad Asif Chaudhry has directed WASA officers that digital technology must be utilized at every stage to ensure a transparent and successful execution of the balloting project for 284 residential plots.
He issued these instructions while chairing a meeting to review the procedures for receiving application forms and the balloting process. The meeting was attended by Director IT Yasir Ejaz Chatha, Project Director/Director Estate Management-II Sohail Maqsood Pannu, and other officials.
During briefing, it was shared that 189 plots of one kanal and 95 plots of 10 marlas, located in various blocks of FDA City on Sargodha Road, have been selected for sale via ballot on a four-year easy installment plan. The application forms will be accepted online with a processing fee of Rs.10,000 per form while the plot price has been set at Rs.500,000 per marla.
The FDA Director General further instructed that the terms, conditions, and eligibility criteria for participating in the ballot be finalized immediately so that the official date for accepting applications can be announced soon.
