FBR’s digital invoicing; important step towards modernized system: Ahmed Idrees Chohan

HYDERABAD, Sep 14 (APP):A special awareness and training session on FBR Digital Invoicing was organized by the Hyderabad Chamber of Small Traders & Small Industry (HCSTSI) in collaboration with Cystence Private Company at the Chamber Secretariat.
A large number of respected chamber members, traders, industrialists and representatives of the business community attended the session.
The objective of the session was to provide the business community with awareness and practical guidance regarding the procedure, key requirements, practical implementation and use of FBR Digital Invoicing in day-to-day business operations.
During the session, Chief Executive Officer of Cystence Private Company, Syed Anas Shah, delivered a detailed introduction and practical presentation on the “FINARDS LITE” software developed for FBR Digital Invoicing.
He explained that Finards Lite is a modern cloud-based invoicing, Point of Sale and Enterprise Resource Planning platform that provides integration with FBR Digital Invoicing.
He briefed the participants on the practical procedure for issuing invoices through the software, maintaining sales and billing records, and integrating relevant invoice data with the FBR system.
Syed Anas Shah further explained the key features of Finards Lite, including FBR-compliant invoicing, integration with Point of Sale and Enterprise Resource Planning systems, generation of QR codes and FBR Invoice Reference Numbers, monitoring of invoices and FBR responses through a centralized dashboard, tracking of failed or pending invoices, and transmission of data once connectivity is restored.
He also provided detailed guidance on the practical use of the software 0by different types of businesses, its implementation process, and its role in making business operations more organized and digital.
Earlier, in his welcome address, Senior Vice President of Hyderabad Chamber of Small Traders & Small Industry, Ahmed Idrees Chohan, termed the awareness session on FBR Digital Invoicing organized by Cystence Private Limited a welcome initiative for the business community.
He said that business systems are rapidly becoming digital in the present era, and therefore the trader and industrialist community must adapt to changing requirements.
He said that the Hyderabad Chamber organized the session to promote greater coordination between the business community and Federal Board of Revenue, address the questions and concerns of traders, and provide awareness regarding the procedure, requirements and practical implementation of Digital Invoicing.
He added that the Hyderabad Chamber would continue organizing such awareness and training programs to facilitate and guide the business community.
At the conclusive part of the session, participants raised a large number of questions and practical points concerning FBR Digital Invoicing, invoice issuance, practical use of the software, maintenance of business records, integration with the FBR system and other related matters. Representatives of Cystence Private Limited, along with Muhammad Zubair Memon, ACCA, provided detailed answers and guidance to the participants. On the occasion, Co-Convener of the FBR Sub-Committee Arif Memon, members of the Executive Committee, senior members, general body members, and a large number of traders and industrialists were also in attendance.
