Faisal Nisar assumes additional charge as CEO EDB
ISLAMABAD, Sep 17 (APP):Faisal Nisar Chaudhry, a Grade-20 officer of the Secretariat Group, has assumed the additional charge of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Engineering Development Board (EDB).
The appointment has made on the directions of the Prime Minister, following the placement of Hamad Ali Mansoor, the incumbent CEO of the EDB, on forced leave pending completion of a high-level departmental inquiry.
Faisal formally assumed charge of the position and subsequently held an introductory meeting with officers and staff of the EDB.
Addressing the meeting, he said that the progress of the institution was linked with the progress of everyone associated with it.
He emphasized the importance of mutual cooperation, teamwork and collective efforts to further strengthen the institution and enhance its effectiveness.
Faisal expressed his resolve to work closely with all officers and staff members for the institutional improvement and development of the board and to enable it to achieve its objectives effectively.
