The export of sports goods from the country witnessed an increase of 10.08 percent during the fiscal year (2025-26) as compared to the export of corresponding period of last year.
Export of sport goods increases 10.08% to $424.349 mln

ISLAMABAD, Aug 7 (APP):The export of sports goods from the country witnessed an increase of 10.08 percent during the fiscal year (2025-26) as compared to the export of corresponding period of last year.
The country exported sports goods worth US$ 424.349 million during July-June (2025-26) as opposed to the export of US$ 385.502 million during July-June (2024-25), according to the data released by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS).
Among the sports products, the exports of footballs rose by 11.72 percent, surging from US$ 229.782 million last year to US$ 256.723 million during the year under review.
The gloves export, however, decreased by 5.91 percent, declining from US$ 63.307 million last year to US$ 59.567 million, the PBS data revealed.
Likewise, the exports of all other sports goods surged by 16.93 percent to US$ 108.059 million from US$ 92.413 million last year.
Meanwhile, on a year-on-year basis, the sports goods export witnessed a decrease of 28.08 percent in June 2026 as opposed to the export same month last year.
The sports goods exports in June 2026 were recorded at US$ 26.164 million against exports of US$ 36.378 million in June 2025.
During the month, the export of footballs, gloves and all other sports products witnessed a decline of 38.90, 11.27 and 12.52 percent respectively.
Meanwhile, on a month-on-month basis, the exports of sports goods also dipped by 35.04 percent during June 2026, in contrast to the exports of US$ 40.275 million in May 2026, the PBS data revealed.
