The officials stated that they were going to sign an agreement with the Transparency International and ask it to watch out EOBI while making transactions and procurements in order to gain confidence of general public.

They accepted that currently EOBI was facing structural and administrative issues but at the same time they were moving in a positive direction, adding that for the first time, data of employees and employers have been displayed on the EOBI website.

The officials of EOBI suggested that a mechanism should be evolved for closer and concerted interaction between federal and provinces.

The meeting noted with concern that there was a dearth of trained staff at EOBI offices due to which the problems emerged and insisted that the time demands proper training of staff.
