ISLAMABAD, Apr 3 (APP):Textile division has signed and Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Small and Medium Enterprise Development Authority (SMEDA) for the launching and execution of project for the establishment of 1000 Stitching Units in Pakistan.
In its 1st phase, 150 Stitching Units would be established costing Rs. 350 million,said a statement issued by Ministry of Commerce and textiles here on Wednesday.
An amount of Rs. 46.2 million has been earmarked by the government in the current financial year (2018-19) for the project with the objective to provide business and employment opportunities to the youth of Pakistan at their door steps.
