DG KPRA chairs review meeting of all regions
PESHAWAR, Sep 15 (APP):Director General (DG) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA) Miss Irum Naz chaired a review meeting of all KPRA regions here on Tuesday.
Collector Sales Tax on Services (STS) Muhammad Abbas Khan was also present during the meeting. Additional Collectors of all regions gave detailed presentations on the revenue collection performance of their respective regions.
Additional Collector Peshawar, Abdul Raziq Khan briefed the DG KPRA and Collector STS on the performance of Peshawar Region and highlighted the performance of all units of Peshawar, stating that all units were making their best efforts not only to achieve their assigned revenue targets but also to surpass them by good margins.
Additional Collector Mardan and Malakand Region Miss Qurrat-ul-Ain Wazir presented a detailed overview of revenue collection in the Mardan and Malakand regions. She said that the region would achieve its first-quarter target.
Additional Collector South Region Mohammad Rizwan highlighted the performance of the South Region and stated that the region was expected to cross its revenue target for the first quarter of the financial year 2026-27 by the end of September.
Additional Collector North Region Muhammad Iqbal briefed the meeting on the revenue performance of the North Region.
He stated that some significant payments from hydropower projects were expected to be received by KPRA by the end of September, which would help the region achieve its quarterly revenue target.
The Director General appreciated the efforts of all regional teams and directed them to continue their efforts with greater dedication to achieve the annual revenue targets. She also assured the regional teams that their logistical and administrative issues would be addressed on a priority basis.
Collector Sales Tax on Services Muhammad Abbas Khan directed all regions to ensure timely submission of comments in court cases.
