ISLAMABAD, Aug 17 (APP): The Finance Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar Wednesday directed to make all out efforts to stop illegal activities in the currency and exchange markets.
The minister gave these directions during a meeting with the Governor State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), Ashraf Mahmood Wathra.
The State Bank Governor briefed the Finance Minister about the crackdown against illegal currency business as well as illegal exchange companies.
Various other measures were approved in the meeting to make the crackdown more effective.
The meeting was participated by senior officials of the Ministry of Finance and the State Bank of Pakistan.
