FAISALABAD, Oct 14 (APP):Vice President of Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI) and former Head of TEVTA District Board of Governors for Faisalabad and Chiniot, Engineer Asim Munir, praised Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for her historic and commendable efforts to engage educated youth as a vital part of national development.
He appreciated the government’s educational reforms, including laptop distribution among talented students, internship opportunities, and the promotion of vocational training. Asim Munir stressed that Pakistan’s future depends heavily on the encouragement of youth based on merit.
He proposed that the Punjab government adopt 20 to 25 top-performing students from matriculation and intermediate exams across the nine educational boards of Punjab. He suggested providing full support to these students until they complete higher education and either gain employment or launch their own businesses.
According to Engr. Asim Munir, this educated youth has the potential to bring innovative and unconventional solutions for the nation’s progress. He emphasized that a merit-based approach would enhance Pakistan’s global image, accelerate national development, foster a spirit of national service, and help prevent brain drain by creating new opportunities for talented individuals.
