Business community to jointly watch federal budget at FCCI

FAISALABAD, Jun 11 (APP): The business community of Faisalabad has finalised arrangements to collectively watch presentation of the Federal Budget 2026-27 at Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI), where the traders and industrialists would closely monitor the government’s fiscal roadmap and offer their immediate assessment of the budgetary measures affecting trade, industry and economic growth.

According to FCCI sources, the chamber has arranged a large screen at FCCI premises to watch budget speech of Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb which would be broadcast live from the National Assembly.

A large number of businessmen, industrialists and representatives of major trade organizations from across the city are expected to attend the event.

The gathering would provide an opportunity for the business community to review the government’s economic priorities, taxation policies, incentives for industry, export-related measures and other fiscal proposals announced in the budget for the upcoming financial year.

Office-bearers of leading traders’ associations and business organizations will also be present on the occasion and are expected to share their reactions and observations immediately after the conclusion of the finance minister’s speech.

The business leaders will analyze the budgetary proposals in the context of industrial development, investment promotion, ease of doing business, revenue generation and measures aimed at strengthening the national economy.

Representatives of major television channels and members of the print and electronic media have also been invited to cover the event and obtain instant feedback from the stakeholders regarding the federal budget and its likely impact on various sectors of the economy.
