SUKKUR, Jul 28 (APP):The Sukkur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) on Monday organized a Business Alliance Convention in honor of Atif Ikram Sheikh, President of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI). The convention was presided over by SCCI President Muhammad Khalid Kakizai, Senior Vice President Amit Kumar, and Vice Presidents Malik Muhammad Owais Rais.
The event drew a large gathering of traders, shopkeepers, industrialists, and business community leaders. In his address, Atif Ikram Sheikh emphasized the importance of unity in overcoming challenges, expressing gratitude for the support of the Sukkur Chamber and local trader organizations.
Sheikh highlighted the business community’s positive role in shaping the country’s economy and stressed the need to utilize this alliance to give a regional voice to economic policy-making at the national level. He expressed his commitment to working with the Sukkur Chamber to promote economic development in the region.
Other notable attendees included DG NADRA Sindh Amir Khan, FPCCI Vice President Bilal Waqar Khan, Advisor to the President Gurdas Wadhwani, SSP Sukkur Azhar Mughal, and former SCCI Presidents Engineer Abdul Fattah Sheikh and Aamir Ali Khan Ghori.
Muhammad Khalid Kakizai assured that the Sukkur Chamber would continue to provide full support to the business community, highlighting the chamber’s efforts to address issues such as excessive billing and other irregularities by Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) and advocating for the rights of the business community and citizens of Sukkur.
