QUETTA, Jul 14 (APP): The Balochistan Revenue Authority (BRA) has accelerated actions in Hub district to ensure registration and tax compliance of doctors, medical consultants, and hospitals.
Notices have been issued to various doctors and hospitals under the Balochistan Sales Tax on Services Act, 2015, requiring registration, timely filing of tax returns, payment of due taxes, and fulfillment of other legal obligations.
BRA clarified that registration, timely return submission, and tax payment are mandatory for all taxable service providers. Non-compliance may result in penalties, attachment of bank accounts, sealing of business premises, and other legal actions.
The authority appealed to all doctors, hospitals, and healthcare service providers to voluntarily comply with tax laws, ensure timely registration and return filing, and contribute to establishing a transparent, fair, and robust tax system in the province.
