Azam Cloth Market delegation meets LCCI President

LAHORE, Mar 16 (APP):Azam Cloth Market delegation led by Calendar Union Association’s Chairman Mian Laiq, met with Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) President Faheemur Rehman Saigol, here Monday.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on issues faced by the market and matters concerning the business community. Opportunities to enhance mutual cooperation and improve business activities were also reviewed.
The delegation informed the LCCI President that Azam Cloth Market is one of the major commercial hubs of the city, but traders are facing several challenges. They urged the government to provide necessary facilities in the market, including proper parking arrangements, smooth traffic flow, and improved loading and unloading facilities.
Speaking on the occasion, Saigol said that Lahore Chamber would actively engage with relevant government departments to help resolve the issues faced by traders. He added that the problems of commercial markets can only be solved through close coordination between the government and business representatives, and emphasized that better infrastructure and traffic management are need of the hour.
Members of the delegation included Bashir Butt, Hafiz Ijaz, Naeem Gujjar, Abid Sattar, Malik Tariq, and Malik Awais. Both sides expressed their commitment to continue joint efforts to resolve traders’ issues and create a more business-friendly environment to promote commercial activities.
