AGP elected to ICGFM Board of Directors for 2-year term

ISLAMABAD, Feb 16 (APP):The Auditor General of Pakistan (AGP) has been elected as an Organizational Member Representative to the Board of Directors of International  Consortium on Governmental Financial Management (ICGFM), Virginia USA for a two-year term.
The appointment became effective on January 1, 2026, and will continue through December 31, 2027, according to AGP press release issue here Monday.
In a letter addressed to the Auditor General Of Pakistan, Maqbool Ahmed Gondal, the Board of Directors congratulated him on his recent election and welcomed him to the governing body of the consortium.
The Managing Director of ICGFM, expressed confidence that the Auditor General Of Pakistan’s expertise and knowledge would significantly contribute to the organization’s mission.
The Board of Directors convenes three to four times annually via Zoom, in addition to an in-person meeting held prior to the International Conference.
ICGFM works to promote best practices in public financial management globally through advocacy, education, and awareness, the press release added.
