Rs 335.405 m allocated for IB&NH Division projects

ISLAMABAD, June 3 (APP): The government has allocated Rs 335.405 million for 21 projects of Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage (IB&NH) in the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) for the year 2016-17.
According to the budgetary document released on Friday, Rs 325.405 million has been earmarked for ongoing schemes and Rs 10 million for a new project.
Rs 81.075 million has been set aside for Rebroadcast Station (RBS) at Mian Channu and Rs 24.489 million for RBS Karan, Neelam Valley, Azad Kashmir.
Rs 40 million has been earmarked for replacement of three transmitters of 100 KW medium wave at Hyderabad, Multan and Muzaffarabad while Rs 10 million will be spent for Phase-II of Radio Paksitan’s Saut-ul-Quran channel.
