Best arrangements to be finalized in Saudi Arabia for Pakistani Hujjaj: Sardar Yousaf


RAWALPINDI, Mar 07 (APP):Federal Minister for Religious Affairs, Sardar Muhammad Yousaf on Wednesday said the government would make all out efforts to finalize best arrangements in Saudi Arabia for Pakistani Hajj pilgrims.
He said this while talking to media after addressing annual result function of a private educational institution here at Peshawar Road.
He said, the parents and teachers should focus on proper grooming and training of the students as they are future of the country.
“We can compete with the world through quality education and the students should be educated and trained to meet the future challenges,” he added.
He further said, the government is taking all possible steps to provide relief to the prisoners confined in Saudi jails.
Sardar Yousaf said, Pakistan being a nuclear power and important country of the world has more responsibility for resolution of the issues being confronted by Muslim Ummah.
To a question he said, the banks received over 375,000 applications for 2018 Government Hajj Scheme. Due to excellent Hajj arrangements made last year by Pakistan government in Saudi Arabia, record number of applications were submitted this year by the citizens for the government Hajj scheme.
Submission of record number of applications reflect the citizens’ confidence on government hajj scheme as last year, the Pakistani Hujjaj were satisfied with the arrangements made in Saudia, he added.
He said, the government has formulated a policy to facilitate the intending hajj pilgrims.
