Three newly created districts added to Shaheed Benazir Bhutto matric toppers scholarship program

In line with Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti’s vision to expand educational opportunities for youth, the Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Matric District Toppers Scholarship Program has been extended to include three newly created revenue districts: West Dera Bugti, Barshore, and Tump.

QUETTA, Jun 18 (APP): In line with Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti’s vision to expand educational opportunities for youth, the Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Matric District Toppers Scholarship Program has been extended to include three newly created revenue districts: West Dera Bugti, Barshore, and Tump.
With this inclusion, top-performing students in matriculation examinations from these districts will now benefit from the scholarship program, gaining access to higher education opportunities. The initiative is expected to encourage academic excellence and provide equal opportunities to talented students across the province.
Balochistan Education Endowment Fund (BEEF), CEO Khalid Mandai, added that the expansion was carried out under the Chief Minister’s special directives and ongoing reforms to promote education. He emphasized that the program’s broader scope ensures that gifted students from every district can pursue their studies without financial barriers.
Khalid Mandai noted that the inclusion of new districts will motivate hardworking students, allowing them to further polish their academic abilities. He added that the provincial government is prioritizing education sector development through practical measures, and the scholarship program is a key component of this agenda.
Highlighting BEEF’s mission, Khalid Mandai said the fund is committed to supporting deserving and intelligent students, ensuring that no capable student is deprived of education due to financial constraints. He expressed hope that the program’s expansion will foster healthy academic competition and provide the younger generation with more opportunities to showcase their talents.
