The inauguration ceremony was attended by Deputy Commissioner Ziarat Abdul Qudoos Achakzai, Haji Ghaus Panizai, Engineer Abdul Salam, District Chairman Abdul Sattar Kakar, Deputy Chairman Habibullah Panizai, Haji Raz Muhammad Domar, and other senior officials. During the event, Engineer Abdul Salam briefed the minister on the master plan, highlighting the project’s various aspects, ongoing development work, and future strategies. He noted that the initiative would play a vital role in improving educational and healthcare facilities in the area.
Speaking at the ceremony, Minister Noor Muhammad Dummar emphasized that the government is taking practical steps for public welfare, and projects like the nursing college serve as the backbone of regional development. He praised the performance of relevant institutions and directed that the project be completed on time.
The establishment of the Quaid-e-Azam Nursing College is expected to provide quality nursing education to local students, particularly women, offering them better employment opportunities.
Graduates will serve in local hospitals and health centers, thereby improving healthcare standards. The hostel facility will ease access for students from remote areas, while the institution is also envisioned to position Ziarat as an emerging hub for health and medical education in the province.
