Naeem welcomes peace accord signed between Iran & US, calling it vital step towards ending tension

Focal Person Prime Minister Youth Program (PMYP) Chaudhry Naeem Karim on Tuesday welcomed the peace agreement signed between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States, calling it an important step towards ending tensions in the region and promoting sustainable peace through negotiations.

QUETTA, Jun 16 (APP): Focal Person Prime Minister Youth Program (PMYP) Chaudhry Naeem Karim on Tuesday welcomed the peace agreement signed between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States, calling it an important step towards ending tensions in the region and promoting sustainable peace through negotiations.
Senior Leader of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Chaudhry Naeem Karim said that the efforts of Prime Minister  Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir in establishing the peace agreement are commendable.
In a statement, he said that the significant progress of the agreement between Iran and the United States reflects continuous diplomatic efforts and the collective determination of friendly countries to adopt the path of dialogue and negotiations instead of confrontation.
He said that Pakistan maintained active contact with all relevant parties throughout this process and continuously emphasized tolerance, forbearance and constructive diplomatic dialogue adding that Pakistan’s position has been that the only viable solution to all problems is through dialogue and diplomacy.
Appreciating Pakistan’s diplomatic role and efforts to promote peace, he said that the wise leadership and effective diplomatic efforts of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir are commendable, which have further highlighted Pakistan’s positive and responsible image.
He said that dialogue and mutual cooperation are indispensable for sustainable peace, development and prosperity in the region.
