Member of National Assembly (MNA), Nawabzada Jamal Khan Raisani on Wednesday welcomed the ceasefire between Iran and the United States, calling it an important and welcome development towards reducing tensions in the region.

QUETTA, Apr 08 (APP): Member of National Assembly (MNA), Nawabzada Jamal Khan Raisani on Wednesday welcomed the ceasefire between Iran and the United States, calling it an important and welcome development towards reducing tensions in the region.
In his statement, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), central leader Nawabzada Jamal Khan Raisani said that Member National Assembly Nawabzada Jamal Khan Raisani appreciated the leadership of Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and said that under their guidance, Pakistan has played an effective role in promoting peace, stability and a balanced foreign policy in the region.
He noted that Pakistan has always demonstrated responsible diplomacy and supported reduction of tensions, dialogue and peaceful resolution at every forum.
He said that the recent progress is a positive step in the context of the Islamabad talks and the emerging Islamabad Accord, which reflects Pakistan’s continuous efforts to promote peace.
Nawabzada Jamal Khan Raisani said that Pakistan would continue its efforts to promote peace, dialogue and cooperation in the region, as sustainable peace is the basis for development and prosperity.
