QUETTA, Mar 23 (APP): Balochistan Minister Public Health Engineer (PHE) Sardar Abdul Rahman Khatiran said that March 23, 1940, is a milestone in the history of Muslims in South Asia.
He said that on that day, the visionary Muslim leadership of the subcontinent laid the foundation for the establishment of an independent homeland with its unwavering determination.
In his message on Pakistan Day, he said that under the leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Muslims dreamed of a state where they could live with freedom, dignity and self-respect.
The Minister said that the resolution passed in Lahore in 1940 further strengthened the resolve of Muslims and just seven years later, on August 14, 1947, Pakistan emerged on the world map as an independent country.
He said that Pakistan faced many challenges during its history, but succeeded every time through its determination and perseverance.
He noted that Pakistan has traveled the journey from an emerging nation to a nuclear power, which is a testament to the strength and determination of this nation.
Sardar Abdul Rehman said that our journey is not yet complete, and we need to take Pakistan to further heights of development.
He said that the Prime Minister of Pakistan and his team have put Pakistan’s economy on the path of sustainable growth, which was possible through bold reforms, wise policies and the hard work and determination of the Pakistani people.
He maintained that lower inflation, increased investment and improved economic indicators are strengthening Pakistan’s economy.
The provincial minister also mentioned the sacrifices of Pakistan’s armed forces, law enforcement agencies and security personnel, who sacrificed their lives to maintain the sovereignty and stability of the country.
The Minister said that Pakistan Day reminds us to further strengthen our national resolve and highlights the values of sacrifice, perseverance and unity that are the foundation of our nation.
He added that Allah Almighty has blessed our nation with innumerable talents and if we work unitedly, we could achieve economic prosperity, social justice and our place on the global stage.
He said that I believe that neither any challenge is insurmountable nor any difficulty is too big,we just need to be united in our purpose and committed to our ideals.
The Minister noted that with determination, hard work and a shared vision, we could build a strong, prosperous and developed Pakistan.
