IG Police Balochistan praises frontline role of force in counter-terrorism operations

Inspector General Police Balochistan Muhammad Tahir has said that the Police are serving as the frontline force in the fight against terrorism, safeguarding citizens’ lives and property while upholding the rule of law.

QUETTA, Jul 13 (APP): Inspector General Police Balochistan Muhammad Tahir has said that the Police are serving as the frontline force in the fight against terrorism, safeguarding citizens’ lives and property while upholding the rule of law.
He made these remarks during his visit to Killi Babri Hanna Urak, where he met police and Anti-Terrorism Force (ATF) personnel who took part in recent operations against terrorists. DIG Quetta Imran Shaukat and other senior officers accompanied him.
IG Muhammad Tahir highlighted the countless sacrifices of Balochistan Police, noting that officers have fulfilled their responsibilities with dedication in combating terrorism and crime. He reaffirmed that the police will continue to play a leading role in ensuring peace and enforcing the law.
He stressed that the sacrifices of Balochistan’s martyrs will never be forgotten, describing them as a guiding light for the nation. “The entire nation stands with the families of martyrs, and they will never be left alone,” he said.
Earlier, DIG Quetta briefed the IG on ongoing operations in Hanna Urak and adjoining Shaban areas. IG Tahir also offered prayers for the martyrs with the bereaved families and visited Hanna Police Station, where he met officers and praised their courage and determination.
Police personnel raised slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad” and pledged to continue their struggle for the stability and strength of the country, vowing not to hesitate in making any sacrifice for the nation.
