Hot weather to persist across Balochistan, light rain forecast in northern districts

The Regional Meteorological Center Quetta has forecast mainly hot conditions across most districts of Balochistan over the next 48 to 72 hours, with very hot weather expected in Nokkundi, Washuk, Dalbandin, Kharan, Noshki, Panjgur, Kech, Awaran, Khuzdar, Sibi, and Dera Bugti as well as the Naseerabad division.

QUETTA, Aug 19 (APP): The Regional Meteorological Center Quetta has forecast mainly hot conditions across most districts of Balochistan over the next 48 to 72 hours, with very hot weather expected in Nokkundi, Washuk, Dalbandin, Kharan, Noshki, Panjgur, Kech, Awaran, Khuzdar, Sibi, and Dera Bugti as well as the Naseerabad division.
According to the weather chart, Nokkundi recorded a maximum temperature of 44.5°C, while Gwadar registered a minimum of 30.5°C. Other notable readings included Zhob at 36.0°C, Kalat at 33.0°C, Pasni at 33.0°C, Gwadar at 30.5°C, Ormara at 31.0°C, and Jiwani at 30.5°C.
The forecast indicates partly cloudy weather with chances of light rain at isolated places in Zhob, Sherani, Musakhail, Harnai, Barkhan, Ziarat, Kohlu, and Khuzdar districts and adjoining areas. Strong gusty winds are also likely in most parts of the province.
The Meteorological Department has advised residents to take precautions against hot and dry conditions, while farmers and outdoor workers are urged to plan activities accordingly.
