QUETTA, Jul 27 (APP): The Regional Meteorological Center Quetta, has forecast persistent hot conditions across most districts of Balochistan, while rain, wind, and thunderstorms are expected in northern areas.
According to the Regional Meteorological Center Quetta, very hot weather will prevail in Nokkundi, Washuk, Dalbandin, Kharan, Noshki, Pishin, Panjgur, Kech, Awaran, Sibi, Usta Muhammad, Naseerabad, and Jhal Magsi.
Meanwhile, partly cloudy skies accompanied by rain, wind, and thunderstorms are likely at isolated places in Zhob, Sherani, Barkhan, Musakhail, Duki, Loralai, Harnai, Killa Saifullah, Kohlu, and Khuzdar, as well as adjoining areas. Officials have cautioned that strong gusty winds may occur in most parts of the province during the forecast period.
The maximum temperature recorded was 44.5°C in Nokkundi, while Barkhan registered the minimum at 30.0°C. Authorities have advised residents to take precautions against extreme heat, while travelers in northern districts should remain alert for sudden rain and thunderstorms.
