QUETTA, Jun 23 (APP):Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhel on Tuesday said that we are more optimistic about the bright future of Pakistan and Balochistan, the real development and functionality of Gwadar Port would emerge as a silent economic revolution.
He said that Gwadar Port is a gateway that would transform Pakistan into a global center of worldwide economic and trade activities, from Central Asia to South Asia and throughout the Middle East, Pakistan has the potential to play the role of a bridge that would connect the economic markets, cultures and industries of the entire region adding that this political and economic vision of ours is not just infrastructure, but it is a wise move for economic integration and sustainable development.
He expressed these views while talking to the Acting Consul General of China (Mr. Feng Deheng) in Karachi, the capital of Sindh province.
Political Director (Mr. Zhang Song) and (Mr. Wang Zhaoxiang) were also present on the occasion.
Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhel said that Pakistan and China have celebrated the 75th anniversary of political and diplomatic relations, this long history of partnership is a testament to the enduring friendship and strength of both Pakistan and China, which have stood shoulder to shoulder in decades of development, challenges and mutual trust.
He said that now our full attention is also focused on the bright future of the province, adding that China has vast knowledge and experience in artificial intelligence and modern technology, this excellence and expertise of China could help and provide intellectual guidance in the formation of a generation in Balochistan.
The Governor said that through our public sector universities, China could secure world-class education for our students and equip them with modern skills as per the requirements of the modern world saying that in this way, China would take our youth to new heights of success and achievement in terms of scholarships and new educational opportunities.
During the meeting, the Acting Consul General of China (Mr. Feng Deheng) said that Pakistan has demonstrated its diplomatic capacity on the global stage and succeeded in bringing both the United States and Iran to the negotiating table after almost half a century.
He said that this diplomatic feat not only raised Pakistan’s stature on the global stage but also created a new chapter in the history of diplomacy adding that Pakistan and Balochistan are keen to invest, China is interested in ensuring that the infrastructure of the entire Balochistan from Gwadar to Zhob is strong, capable of increasing economic activities and ensuring sustainable development in the living standards of the people of Balochistan.
  For which, Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhel thanked both the Chinese government and the Chinese people.
The two leaders agreed to increase people-to-people contacts between Pakistan and China.
