QUETTA, Apr 02 (APP):Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhel on Thursday said that the current government is committed to supporting and assisting charitable organizations like BRSP, which are working day and night to improve the quality of life of the poor people of the province.
He expressed these views while speaking during a briefing on the performance of the Balochistan Rural Support Program. Member Provincial Assembly Haji Barkat Rind, Principal Secretary to Governor Balochistan Abdul Nasir Dotani, Chief Executive Officer of Balochistan Rural Support Program (BRSP) Dr. Tahir Rashid, Senior Manager Naimatullah Miryani and Manager Ibraaim Alvi were also present during the briefing.
The Governor said that the Balochistan Rural Support Program (BRSP) has crossed a historic milestone by expanding its activities to thirty-six different districts of the province.
He said that this expansion is a testament to their unwavering commitment to the development and prosperity of the scattered, backward and remote areas of our province.
The Governor emphasized on the participation and inclusion of women in all the activities and projects of the institution, with the launch of the Center of Excellence in Renewable Energy at BUITEMS University, they are ready to bring a major change for sustainable energy solutions.
Moreover, expanding the livestock sector to the union council level will prove to be a game changer in the local economy. We pay tribute to the entire team of Balochistan Rural Support Program for all the visionary projects and initiatives taken over the past several decades, he said.
Jaffar Khan Mandokhel said that by ensuring the protection of wildlife and biodiversity in the province, we have set an exemplary example of attracting the attention of international organizations for the first time.
He said that we paid tribute to the excellent service and participation of the former Honorary Consul General of Germany and France, the late Sardar Naseer Tareen, and the current Chief Executive Officer of BRSP, Dr. Tahir Rashid.
He said that the current government is committed to supporting and assisting charitable organizations like BRSP, which are working day and night to improve the quality of life of the poor people of the province.
He said that therefore, for the development and economic well-being of our people, we should utilize the expertise and support of all national and international organizations and therein lies the secret of building and developing a bright future for Balochistan.
