Governor condemns killing of laborers in Saranan
QUETTA, Aug 24 (APP):Governor Balochistan, Jaffar Khan Mandokhel strongly condemned the killing of unarmed laborers in the Saranan area of Pishin district on Monday.
He said that laborers play an important role in development and growth through their hard work and feed their children, often laborers were the sole breadwinners of their families, so the death of a laborer puts the entire family in serious trouble.
Governor Mandokhel urged law enforcement agencies (LEAs) to utilize all available resources to bring the elements involved in the incident to justice.
Governor Balochistan, Jaffar Khan Mandokhel expressed his condolences and sympathy to the bereaved families and said that they all share their grief equally.
However, laborers were working at a double road of Sranan area of Pishin district when unknown armed assailants opened fire at them and fled from the scene. As a result, four of them died on the spot while one of them sustained injuries.
The bodies and the injured were rushed to nearby hospital where the injured treatment was started.
