QUETTA, May 12 (APP): Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhail inaugurated a Japanese calendar exhibition during his visit to the Pak-Japan Cultural Center here, highlighting the enduring friendship and cooperation between Pakistan and Japan.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Governor said his visit and the exhibition’s opening were not only a symbol of solidarity but also an acknowledgment of Japan’s valuable services to the poor people of Balochistan during difficult times and natural disasters. He invited Japanese investors to explore profitable opportunities in various sectors of the province, stressing that such partnerships would benefit both sides.
Governor Jaffar Mandokhail, extended an invitation to the Japanese Ambassador and Consul General to visit Quetta, noting that such exchanges enhance mutual respect and strengthen relations between friendly nations.
“Today’s visit reaffirms a strong partnership that ensures hope, development, and shared success for both Pakistan and Japan,” he added.
Earlier, the Governor formally inaugurated the Japanese calendar exhibition and showed keen interest in the cultural and historical artworks displayed. He praised the longstanding friendly ties between Pakistan and Japan, stating that the people of Balochistan held deep respect for the Japanese nation.
Governor Jaffar Mandokhail emphasized upon the importance of Japan’s expertise and technology in promoting higher education in Balochistan. He suggested scholarships and partnerships between Japanese industries and provincial universities to advance both educational and economic development. He noted that Japan’s rapid progress in modern technology and its consistent humanitarian assistance have directly benefited Balochistan, and expressed hope for continued cooperation in the future.
