QUETTA, Oct 06 (APP):Vice Chairman Balochistan Board of Investment and Trade (BBoIT), Bilal Khan Kakar on Tuesday said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, the provincial government is striving to mobilize the entire economy of Balochistan rather than relying on any single sector or a major project for development.
“Our goal is to create an economic environment where local businesses can grow, young people move towards creating employment opportunities rather than seeking jobs, and investors consider Balochistan a reliable business destination”, he said.
Speaking to business personalities at his office, he said that Balochistan’s greatest strength lies in its exceptional economic potential, from minerals to the blue economy, agriculture, livestock, fisheries, tourism and technology, there is room for new business models in every sector, “The need is to transform these opportunities from files and reports into practical and viable projects.”
Bilal Khan Kakar said that the priority of the Board of Investment and Trade is not merely to attract investment but to make investment successful saying that for this purpose, it is essential to provide investors with accurate information, timely guidance and easy access to government institutions.
