QUETTA, Sep 08 (APP):Following the approval of the Board of Directors of Quetta Electric Supply Company (QESCO), Engineer Mirza Azaz Baig has been entrusted with the additional charge of Chief Executive Officer. He formally assumed office on Monday, marking the beginning of a new chapter in the company’s leadership.
Upon assuming charge, Baig described his appointment as both a responsibility and an honor.
He urged all officers and employees to work collectively as a team to further improve the company’s performance.
He emphasized that QESCO must evolve into a prosperous, customer-friendly, and modern institution, and this requires teamwork, professional responsibility, and sincerity of purpose.
He called on staff to prioritize national duty and institutional interests while utilizing their professional skills effectively.
It may be noted that former CEO Engineer Shaukat Ali retired on September 7, 2026, upon completion of his tenure, after which Baig was assigned the additional responsibility of leading QESCO.
