Emergency relief operations initiated in earthquake-affected areas of Musakhel’ Tehsil Kangri
QUETTA, Jun 28 (APP):On the special directive of Deputy Commissioner Musakhel Abdul Razaq Khan Khajak, the district administration started emergency relief operations in the earthquake-affected areas of Tehsil Kangri to provide health facilities and other basic amenities to victims.
Deputy Commissioner Abdul Razaq Khan Khajak on Sunday said in a message that the district administration stands with its affected brothers and sisters in this hour of trouble and difficulty.
He said that rehabilitation of the victims, provision of medical facilities, and compensation for losses is our top priority, saying that in addition, relief teams are on alert in the affected areas of Kangri and uninterrupted medical assistance, food, and tents are being provided to the victims.
He said that, moreover, the district administration has mobilized relevant staff in the field to assess the damage to the affected houses and infrastructure so that the distribution of aid could be done in a transparent manner.
The Deputy Commissioner reiterated that the administration is monitoring the rehabilitation process, and relief activities would continue until normal life is restored in the affected areas.
