QUETTA, Sep 14 (APP):Director General Social Welfare Balochistan Mir Saifullah Khan Khetran handed over the keys of a tri-scooty to a disabled woman, aimed at facilitating her mobility and supporting self-employment. Officers of the Social Welfare Department were also present on the occasion.
Speaking at the ceremony, Saifullah Khetran said that the Balochistan government is taking practical measures for the welfare of vulnerable, poor, needy, and differently-abled individuals.
He emphasized that providing facilities and essential resources to special persons is a priority of the Social Welfare Department, enabling them to live with dignity and independence.
He added that the provision of tri-scooties and other assistance is intended to ease mobility while helping disabled persons achieve economic self-reliance. The department continues to identify deserving individuals and provide them with support tailored to their needs.
Meanwhile, people praised Khetran’s efforts, noting that since he assumed charge of the Social Welfare Department, initiatives for the welfare of the poor, needy, and disabled have gained significant momentum.
They expressed hope that this assistance program will continue in the future, ensuring sustained support for deserving individuals.
