QUETTA, Jul 03 (APP): Following the tragic bus accident in the Danasar area on the Balochistan–Khyber Pakhtunkhwa border, rescue and relief operations are being carried out jointly by both provincial governments.
On the directives of Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti, the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), the Health Department, district administrations, and rescue agencies immediately mobilized to the accident site. Multiple ambulances have been deployed to transfer the injured to the Trauma Center Zhob, where medical staff and emergency technicians are providing urgent treatment.
Aide to the Chief Minister for Political and Media Affairs, Shahid Rind, confirmed that all relevant departments are working in close coordination to ensure timely assistance for victims. He stressed that no negligence in the treatment of the injured will be tolerated and that affected families will receive full support.
Shahid Rind expressed gratitude to the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, district administrations, rescue agencies, and medical teams for their active cooperation and swift response, noting their valuable role in saving lives and making relief operations effective.
He added that the Balochistan government stands with the bereaved families, offering condolences and prayers for the speedy recovery of the injured. Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti is personally monitoring the situation, and rescue and relief operations will continue until all victims receive complete assistance and necessary facilities.
