CM Sarfraz Bugti reviews progress on Sui Master Plan, orders priority water supply
QUETTA, Jun 02 (APP): Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti chaired a high-level meeting at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat to review progress on the Sui Master Plan and ongoing development projects.
The meeting approved key measures aimed at protecting urban populations and improving the environment, including the relocation of the flaring stack away from residential areas.
The Chief Minister directed relevant authorities to accelerate implementation and ensure timely completion of all projects under the plan.
Expressing concern over water shortages in Sui city, CM Bugti ordered immediate steps to guarantee uninterrupted supply of clean drinking water, especially during the summer months. He stressed that negligence in this regard would not be tolerated and instructed the civil administration and Public Health Engineering Department to coordinate closely for effective action.
The Chief Minister emphasized that the pace of work on the Sui Master Plan must be further expedited and all projects completed within the stipulated timeframe.
He reiterated that the government’s priority is to ensure the early provision of basic facilities to citizens, enabling long-term solutions to public issues.
