CM Sarfraz Bugti reviews development projects, vows record progress for public welfare in Balochistan

Northern Dera Bugti, Aug 15 (APP): Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, inspected ongoing development projects in Northern Dera Bugti and directed officials to accelerate work, ensure quality standards, and complete schemes within the stipulated timeframe.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner of Dera Bugti and other district officers briefed the Chief Minister on various projects and the provision of basic facilities to the public.
Bugti also visited the under-construction building of a unique educational institution aimed at providing high-quality education to orphaned and underprivileged children from across Balochistan. He said education is the foundation of societal progress and the government is committed to offering modern learning opportunities to deprived segments of society.
The Chief Minister inspected a newly established sports ground, emphasizing that providing youth with healthy environments and opportunities for positive activities is among the government’s top priorities.
He noted that the facility would enable young people to participate in inter-district competitions and showcase their talents.
Sarfraz Bugti further said that the provincial government is utilizing all available resources to improve healthcare services, particularly in remote areas, ensuring citizens have access to quality facilities at their doorstep.
He warned that substandard work in development schemes would not be tolerated, adding that strict action has already been taken against poor construction practices and will continue in the future.
Highlighting the government’s achievements, he said record development projects have been initiated and completed across Balochistan, with the aim of delivering basic services to every region, eliminating backwardness, and ensuring equitable distribution of resources.
He stressed that development should not remain confined to major cities but must extend to every tehsil and union council.
Sarfraz Bugti also pointed out that the creation of new districts and divisions is part of the government’s mission to bring resources closer to the people.
He noted that thousands of youth have already been provided employment opportunities in various government departments, while further initiatives are underway to expand access to education, skills, jobs, and sports.
Accompanying the Chief Minister during the visit were Chief Secretary Balochistan Shakeel Qadir Khan and Principal Secretary to the CM Imran Zarkoon.
