QUETTA, Apr 08 (APP): Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti on Wednesday paid tribute to the national leadership, Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for the establishment of a ceasefire between the United States and Iran.
He said that Pakistan, as a responsible state, has played an effective and decisive role in ending tensions in the region and establishing a ceasefire.
In a message on social networking site X, he said that Pakistan’s thoughtful national leadership not only took timely and wise decisions but also further strengthened the country’s diplomatic reputation at the global level.
The Chief Minister said that Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir’s professional strategy and timely actions played an important role in protecting the entire region from a possible major disaster.
He said that Pakistan’s balanced and active diplomacy has given a clear message to the international community that peace, stability and dialogue are our top priorities.
He said that this success achieved as a result of this balanced diplomatic strategy is an important milestone towards establishing permanent peace in the region.
The CM expressed hope that as a result of these efforts, not only a complete ceasefire would be possible but also the path to establishing lasting peace will be paved.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti said that this success is a manifestation of Pakistan’s effective narrative, wise decisions and global trust, which would have a prominent place in history.
He said that Pakistan’s continuous efforts to promote peace and stability in the region have become an exemplary one and the country has played a responsible and active role in establishing peace at the global level and has contributed to saving the world from a major conflict.
Mr. Bugti expressed his determination that the ongoing diplomatic efforts led by Pakistan would continue to pave the way for peaceful resolution of conflicts in the future and could be instrumental in establishing lasting peace in the region.
