QUETTA, Jun 29 (APP): The Balochistan Revenue Authority (BRA) held an important meeting on Monday to review tax collection and compliance matters in the Hub region.
Relevant officers attended the session, which focused on revenue collection, registration, return filing, recovery of dues, enforcement measures, and expansion of the tax net.
During the meeting, officials presented detailed progress reports on the state of compliance among various industrial and commercial entities, the challenges faced, and strategies to enhance revenue generation.
The Chairman BRA Abdullah Khan directed officers to intensify efforts to bring unregistered service providers and businesses into the tax net, strengthen legal action against non-filers, and ensure timely recovery of outstanding dues.
He further emphasized the importance of facilitating taxpayers, promoting transparency, and encouraging voluntary compliance through effective use of digital systems. The meeting reaffirmed BRA’s commitment to achieving revenue targets in the Hub region, ensuring effective enforcement of tax laws, and increasing provincial resources to support sustainable development.
